During my stay in Penang as an artist in residence, I have encountered many memorable experiences and met people that go passing borders, many times, in their life. To travel, to live, to work, etc. which is similar to what I’m doing for the past 3-4 years right before the pandemic. This weaving on the window is inspired by that.

I intend to keep doing this in various objects that separate two spaces such as door, window, etc.This is the very beginning of a series. I use the essence of weaving. A meditative, repetitive action of going in and out, back and forth.
